Good experience. Needed same day repair and paid a rush fee. They had my laptop back to me in 4 hours and working perfect
My laptop would not power up after I spilled water on it. Amazingly they fixed it. If you spill water on your computer this is the place to go.
I was very disappointed with how they processed upgrades. I called twice to let them know what I needed before I arrived and was told that I can just walk in and they would game an estimate. When I arrived the name on the building was TLC but they had an entire different name inside. This location seemed very old and their office has camera hanging on the walls from the early 90s. They did not seem like a shop that was modern and up date. I figured well maybe they will make it up with their pricing. To my surprise they told me that it would tell me 4-5 days to get in estimate because they are so back logged but if I paid $50 they would somehow clear there schedule to tell me what a hard drive replacement would cost. I then declined to leave it and again they found time to give me a quick quote right there on the spot. I ended up not feeling comfortable leaving it with them.
-$230 and my pc is completely nonfunctional now. You're messing with people's livelihoods. Some of us work remotely. DO NOT GO HERE! SCAM ARTISTS! I see now other reviews are saying similar, you really can't trust businesses out here to actually provide a service can you? Also it's unprofessional to have two different brands. You walk into TLC but the business cards say Tech2U as does the invoice. Must be a way of dodging responsibility.
DO NOT GO HERE. Brought my laptop, to get diagnosed, asked for the laptop back cause the price was out of my budget. they gave me back my laptop with 2 screws that keeps the screen on. When I opened my lap top it just started cracking and the screen is holding on literally by a thread. I feel like they did this because they felt as if I was going somewhere else to get it serviced and to cause more problems. How do you forget to put screws back in? My laptop is 100% ruined at this point it I wanted it fix they caused more issues. I went here cause it has 5 stars. Biggest disappointment. I forgot to add I PAID FOR THE DIAGNOSIS!!! THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND SCREWS. These people are crooks
