Recruiter named Jonathan reached out to me on LinkedIn. I responded that I wasn’t really looking for anything right now but happy to hear about the position. Set up a call and he immediately disqualified me from the position. What he was looking for was to fill his funnel of candidates and to find me something quick. Again, told him I’m not actively looking. He asked for an updated resume which I told him since I’m not actively looking that I don’t have one but that my LinkedIn is updated. He sent my info over to someone at his company and put together a resume and wanted to set up another call. As I said, I’m not actively looking so I am also extremely busy with work but I wanted to respond and discuss the resume that was sent over. Set up time today. I told him that I thought the resume was a little wordy. He got pissed, told me he was doing me a favor since I don’t even have a resume (which I do it’s just not updated since again, I’m not actively looking), told me his resume technical person does 20 resumes a day and that she is great at her job, and said “ so we are done here then?”. I said yup and ended the call. This guy was a complete dick for no reason.
