I love having RingRX for my private practice. It's perfect for keeping things secure and HIPAA compliant. Love the text feature and so do my patients who appreciate texting more than calls. Great features, great customer support. Worth every penny!
UPDATED: RingRX was responsive and they were able to get outbound fixed. It took over a month, but appreciate the responsiveness and getting the issue fixed. ORIGINAL: We’re a small business, and we were recommended RingRxâ€â€big mistake. We had an issue with outbound texts, and at first, we were told it would be fixed in 1-2 business days. Then it became 5 business days. Then 10. Now, a full month later, the issue is still unresolvedâ€â€with no plans to fix it. Their support is useless. We get weak responses, vague excuses, and zero real solutions. If you want constant problems, no resolutions, and unreliable communication with your patients, RingRx is the company for you. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
I was with RingRx for many years. I recently left. They did not do a good job handling the changes for business texting services. Other VoiP services planned in advanced and unfortunately RingRX did not. It seemed like they spent more energy blaming and encouraged customers to complain than fixing the problem. After waiting more than a month I left the company. After doing so, and seeing my new company, I wish I would have left sooner. RingRx does not have a way to black 5 digit phone numbers for spam texts. When I signed up years ago and I couldn't find any other options, it was worth it but I think better options exist now.
I would not recommend this company to any business. Since February 1st, I have not been able to send outbound text messages. And when that’s an imperative part of your business, it causes inconveniences. And to top it off, still paying full price for a service I’m not even allowed to use. They even tried to charge me extra for texting last month and I was livid because I can’t even use that service. I filled out the paperwork required back in February. Everytime I reach out to them, SAME GENERIC answer!! Not taking any accountability or apologies. I’m looking at my email thread I have with them, it’s like they copy and paste the exact same answer: “a couple weeks.†And yet that couple of weeks has yet to come. Disheartened with this company.
I had previously given a 5 star review but I’m changing it now. For a month now I have not been able to text my clients. I completed the application the next day after this problem occurred. I just tried to call and no support on the weekends even during this crisis?? Really fed up with this company and I don’t want to hear one more time how this isn’t their fault. They should have customer support on the weekends during a crisis like this. Point blank, they simply don’t care meanwhile this is our small business and livelihood at stake. Do better, RingRx, or I’m out. Update 3/7/2025: response to reply. False. I have been reaching out. I called again last Monday and was told my application should be processed by Friday (today). I called back for an update and now the system won’t even allow you to reach a live agent. The canned response is once again passing the buck stating you don’t have the manpower essentially to deal with this crisis. Meanwhile it’s been a month since I submitted the application and I STILL cannot text my clients. Totally unacceptable and even worse that you’re avoiding all accountability. Do NOT blameshift and tell me I haven’t replied yet. I just spent 15 minutes going through your phone system and cannot reach anyone at all. Stop hiding from the problem and actually DO something to fix it.
