Customer Reviews

I took two of my CSETs at this location and I highly recommend it. The ladies working there are amazing! Great customer service! I was having test anxiety and they were able to ease that anxiety with kind and reassuring words. They have several rooms to test in, I was in a room with only two other people. That allowed for me to be able to concentrate more on my exam. I will definitely be back to test in this location. I felt more comfortable and with less anxiety compared to a previous Pearson site I tested at.

I have taken 3 certification tests here. All 3 times went as smooth and painlessly as one could expect. I have used different testing centers and they all have about the same setup and desk-space for test-taking, a dry-erase board for marking, and hearing protection to limit distraction. This test center is smaller than others, though I have never had issues scheduling for a test when needed. There have been spots open every time. Janus Networks is an authorized Pearson VUE test center. What sets this place apart from many other test centers is the availability of Saturday test appointments. I have never had to take time off work for a certification test thanks to this place.

I took my cbest here. This place has lockers for you to put your stuff away. The staff was friendly and helped with the test process. This location offers sound blocking headsets at each desk. I felt there was enough room at esch computer to work comfortably. The chairs are office chairs and are comfortable to sit on for hours. The only downside is that the scratch paper is like a “white board paper”, and if you are testing for “math” you will need to get up a few times and walk to the front desk, because you are only given 1 at a time. I would recommend this test site. The testing room did not smell bad (smelled like nothing), however when I got up for more scratch paper from the front desk, I noticed the office smelled like cigarettes.

I was not entirely impressed with this testing center. The place smelled of cigarette smoke. I arrived early for my exam and was shuffled in pretty much immediately, with hardly a moment to adjust. For scratch paper, I was given two laminated single-sided sheets with a thick dry erase pen — not nearly enough for the full exam. I had to go back out during testing time to get more paper. The lady at the front was also not familiar with whether my exam had designated breaks. I had gone in anticipating that I would not have any, but could take one or two on my own, with the clock running. However, I was given the impression that I would have moments where the computer prompted me to take a break, which would stop my clock, if I wanted. As you might imagine, this changed the way I anticipated spending my time at the last minute. However, I never received these prompts (as originally anticipated), and that was highly disappointing. The computer keyboards were also smaller than a lot of other keyboards you would see in offices or schools around. I kept hitting the wrong buttons, because the spacing was different. This significantly affected my time. As I tried to used the back space, I kept hitting the button next to it, which made the mistakes I made even harder and longer to correct. I hope I passed, because I do not think I would want to come back to this testing center.

I took a test here. Not super impressed with facility but staff was very friendly. The clock on the wall was incorrect by about an hour and a half. Out of habit, when I took a water break, I estimated my time left by the clock on the wall. I should have looked at the minute count down on my screen but out of habit, I simply estimated from wall clock. I was so engrossed by the test that I didn't think about whether the time on the clock was correct until I got the notification for 30 minutes remaining. Just confusing and in a testing center I would expect them to take down the clock or set it correctly. It was out under by a hammer and nail, and completely in reach with a step stool. Also, I took the test in February, not close to day light savings, and it wasn't off by an fraction of time that would make sense, it was off by something like an hour twenty. Very strange. When I asked the staff about my time since I was confused he simply answered that the clock was wrong so don't use it. Would have loved that info when I checked in.
