I had a fantastic experience at the uBreakiFix store in Oxnard today! The store was incredibly clean, and Carlos, the store manager, was super helpful throughout my visit. It was also great to see how he supports local businesses with an SMB wall in the storeâ€â€such a great way to showcase the community. Initially when I went in the people there were amazing and very accommodating. One of the guys even showed me some extra perks I could use with my insurance. Well he told me I could come back in two hours and the phone would be ready. It was suppose to have a back glass replaced, cleaned, and some performance check. I got an email the cleaning and performance check was done and I called and asked about the back glass and they said it was ready to be picked up. When I got there he got my phone and it hadn’t been cleaned at all. And the edges of the back of my phone has little scratches on it that weren’t there before and I pointed it all out and he said he’d clean it right then and it would only take about 5 minutes. Cool, so got that done and left. That night my daughter had a dance and as I was recording her I tried to zoom out to .5 and the camera was blurry. So I called today to ask them to fix it and they said I have to put in another claim through my insurance otherwise they won’t touch it. Well my insurance is just sending me a new phone and I’m actually super disappointed in the place I chose to have my phone fixed. If I ever need repairs again I’ll definitely be going elsewhere.
