I brought in my ASUS laptop for "Bit Locker" issues. Scott Winters was awesome. In short, Scott fixed the problem and had the laptop running as if it was a new laptop. Scott was patience with me and knowledgeable of the inner working of a computer. Scott explained the issues to me and gave a short education on the working of computers. If you have any computer issues, give Tech2U in La Mesa on Lake Murray Blvd a try and ask for Scott.

I brought in my 14" MacBook Pro because it wouldn’t turn on. They didn’t open it, didn’t run any real tests, and still told me it was the “motherboard” and would cost $800 to replace — then suggested I just buy a new computer. They also lied about offering a free diagnostic, which they never actually did. It was a rushed, lazy excuse for a repair assessment. I took it to Swift Repairs, who actually diagnosed the problem — a small failed chip — and fixed it same day for just $250. No full replacement needed, that saved me nearly a grand. Tech 2U either had no idea what they were talking about or just didn’t care. Either way, these people are scammers and I wouldn’t trust them with anything. Go to Swift Repairs instead — they actually know what they’re doing.

Tech was knowledgeable and very patient. Resolving my issue attaching a NAS drive took far longer then either of us thought. This issue was eventually resolved using a different approach. Working this issue found some incorrect network settings which were also corrected. Very satisfied with this tech. Would recommend this service to friends.

Brandon was very personable and knowledgeable and spent quite a bit of time trying to work out an issue with a Google account. My only issue was the cost. I was prepared for a $299.00 flat rate charge for setting up my HP mini desktop PC (copying old drive to new) but was taken aback when he told me it was an additional $129.00 for the copying, etc. I was definitely not expecting that! I ended up paying almost $450 for the set up, almost what I paid for the computer.
