Customer Reviews

Stay away! Run away! …DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT. THEY ARE DECEPTIVE AND PREDATORY IN PRACTICE. TRYING TO END SERVICE WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE. I SIGNED A 12 MONTH AGREEMENT THAT BEGAN TO QUIETLY AUTO RENEW AFTER 12 MONTHS FOR CONSECUTIVE 12 MONTH TERMS. WE REQUESTED TO END OUR AGREEMENT IN DECEMBER OF 2024 DUE TO LEAVING THE BUILDING WE WERE INSIDE OF AND OUR BUSINESS CLOSING. PAUL STEWART AT WI LINE LET US KNOW THAT WE WOULD OWE $4,338.64 TO TERMINATE EARLY. WHEN I EXPLAINED WE HAD NO IDEA WE WERE ON AUTO RENEW AND OUR SMALL BUSINESS WAS CLOSING, PAUL WAS PRETTY MUCH USELESS IN PROVIDING A DECENT OPTION. I WROTE: Up until now we have been happy with WiLine as our internet service provider since 2020. It's unfortunate you want to throw away 4 years of a good business relationship and try to squeeze us for over $4000 as we walk out of the door and have to close our small business. And just to be clear, we are talking about "future" internet service, not a physical item or good. Internet service you are asking us to pay for future use. We have been paying customers since 2020. So over 4 years. And in just the last 2 years, our price has doubled from $270 to $542. We had an email exchange on July 28th 2022 where I said, "Hi Paul, let's do the 12 month option". I was clearly only interested in doing a 12 month option. If I wanted to do a longer term I would selected one at that time. My intent was clearly 12 months. At the time of our agreement in August of 2022, we agreed to 12 months at $270 per month. That is all we intended to sign up for. We figured we were on a month to month after the 12 month agreement. Today I read the agreement and yes it does say "The term of this agreement will automatically renew for successive 12 month periods." There is no breakdown on cancellation options anywhere on the agreement. It does not state how to cancel or that there is an early termination fee or certain amount of days required to terminate. Literally nothing about cancellation or termination. So when were we supposed to have cancelled? After 4 years of being a paying customer, what difference does it make if we would have cancelled in September vs now? WiLine has not put any additional product, resources or labor into this. For example, we had an alarm company, they required 30 days notice, I gave it and we are all done. Simple as that. Why is this any different? Again, no where on the agreement does it state when notice is required. Judges see contracts all of the time and rule in the other party's favor when a contract is unconscionable. So again. August of 2022, we have a 12 month term at $270 per month. By February 2023 it was $293 a month. By February 2024 it was $448 a month. By December 2024 $542 a month. That's a 100% increase in 2 years. Can you explain that? Where on the agreement does it say the rate is subject to increase? I don't see that anywhere. After reviewing the agreement and past bills, it seems we might actually be owed money from WiLine from these unauthorized rate increases. I can't see anywhere on the agreement that says anything about a cancellation policy or that the rate would be increased. Let me know what you are thinking here Paul or if someone else inside of the organization is better suited to deal with this. Like I said it had been a pleasure working with WiLine up until this point. We would obviously prefer to depart from this relationship still wanting to work together in the future but also have no intention of being steam rolled. PAUL SAID: 1. You have the option to keep the contract as is and continue to let bill out as normal until the end of term to avoid any upfront ETF. 2. I would be happy to work with you to relocate the services to a new address where they would be useful at this time if one is one is available now of even in the future. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD WE KEEP THE SERVICE FOR A BUILDING WE ARE NO LONGER USING AND I TOLD PAUL MULTIPLE TIMES WE HAD NO INTENTION OF RELOCATING.

Horrible horrible company!! Rates nearly doubled in the past 2.5 years. Constant outages, which is a deathblow to restaurants. Last outage lasted a whole weekend! Early termination fee is equal to the regular monthly rate till the end of contract. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

SCAM, RUN AWAY. They do not care about customer satisfaction and only care of money, they will charge you 5 times more than other providers no joke. Service: DIA Data 100×100 Mbps, 1 CPE, & 1 IP. Total Monthly Cost: $594.50 if you want to get out of it, Early Termination Fee: $16,646.00

Avoid WiLine. Initial experience may be good but their deceptive contract practices will trap you in a new long term contract depsite you reaching out asking them to not renew. They will auto renew at a much higher arbirtary rate without giving you any notice or warning about the new rate. And to get out of the contract, you have to pay a penalty equal to the new rate multiplied by the number of months left in the new contract. Poor business practice in an attempt to lock clients into contracts at renewal. No regard for the customer. Don't waste your time and hard earned money with this company.

Do not use this provider. Once you get a contract, you can't cancel the contract. even if after finishing the contract, automatic recontract by themselves. This is not fair and highly cost I have ever used. The service was worst, worst, worst. so many times drop the internet. half of time was disconnect the internet and 1-5 days no internet per month. this is not right. better use the cellphone hot spot. Don't waste your huge money with this company. 5/30/24 They contact me with email. and they can do something because of my bad review. But they don't give us any credit during the dropped the internet signal for 7-10 days. They have never care of my loss. I am using Starlink and Wiline both. The starlink is the way better than them. or maybe cellphone hot spot is better than their service. Just check the review rate. 2.0 OMG That's the proof.
