I enjoyed serving people with disabilities. I worked part time for this company, and I was very flexible. However, there were certain staff that took advantage of my hard work and integrity. I didn’t bend to their every little petty needs. Unfortunately those same people kept secrets together and ultimately led me to quit. The main RN in charge did nothing useful for staff or the clientele and instead ran staff into the ground. And took advantage of them. There’s no growth in this job, but for higher up positions. I was always scrutinized by certsin staff because I was not qualified to pass meds, but those same staff never sent me to training for it. As a veteran in the military and all my experience, working for arc imperial valley was a huge step down and slap in my face. I was willing to do anything for the clients, but the company only wanted to take advantage of that. When I quite, a lot of way better opportunity opened for me elsewhere.
Tried for the first time. Can't see weight of product. No receipt/voucher just the cash handed to you which was about 8 dollars less than I get in calexico. And don't ask to see the weight it just gets them mad. So I give them a grade of "shady" and no worries about my 8 bucks get the crew some cold drinks to keep hydrated.
It would be nice for them to actually pick up the phone. On my way to do something at their place, started calling before 3, they pick up the phone and immediately end the call. I call again and a woman picks up, can barely hear her, but I can hear she said "please hold," five seconds later the call is ended. I'm driving, calling with the car's bluetooth, they ended it at their end. Call five more times for the next 15 minutes, they answer at 3:15, I ask if that's the place to apply, just so they know I'm coming and to confirm it, they tell me they were closed. They kept me waiting 15 minutes, ending my calls constantly enough times where they can say "they are closed". At 3:15, where they have online they close at 3:30. Every other place has their closing times on the dot, not 15-30 minutes before it's stated. If you decide to call them or have to do one more thing over there after 3, don't bother. Apparently it closes at 3 instead of the stated 3:30. If you do call after 3, they'll ignore your call so they don't have to deal with you.
Taking care of recycle is not always bunch of fun but going here, I appreciate these folks they're always pleasant they're always smiling they're always polite and pretty efficient I go here all the time and they're always helpful.
