I had Fronteir for over 8 yrs, was never late on payments , never had any issues until I had to cancel the account and paid the cancellation fee and mailed out the boxes back. months later I get a letter that I owed money. I call and they said not to worry about it that I would not be placed on collections. Now I checked my credit report and they have placed me on collections after I was told not to worry that they would take care of it and it was all pretty much bull now I have to deal with cleaning up my credit report from this.
Cant wait for Verizon to take over. After two months of service, the location for the router just wasnt worth getting half the speeds due to interference. So I called them a week ago to see if a technician can come and move the router to another area. They said they provide the service for an additional $35 fee. I agreed and set a date up for today (6/6/25). I was scheduled to work but I got the day off because their time window for the tech to show was between 7am and 5pm. Here I am waiting at home all day and it reaches 4pm. No updates or calls. So I called. Long story short, asian lady on the phone said they don't do in-services like relocating the router for working internet service. So why the hell did you book some one? Why didn't anyone call back and say hey, we made a mistake. We no longer provide that service. No, instead I missed work and stood home all day. Had I not called, I wouldn't have even known they no longer did that type of service. No wonder their company has bad reviews and are selling to Verizon trying to recover from their bankruptcy. Oh the best part is they tried to accommodate me by offering a personal tech to do it for $150! Great job! You really made up for your total screw up. Oh and save the AI bot reply about how sorry you are about the situation and you are working to better/improve yourself
If your router goes out, they will tell you they are sending another in 2-3 business days?! I work from home, I cannot afford to be without internet for that long! Also, if you try to have them send a tech to fix it sooner than that, they will charge you $150 for the service call since the router is third party. Oh, and then they will try to upsell you on backup internet while you're troubleshooting, so you can have extra internet in case your internet goes down, what a bunch of degenerates.
Their door-to-door sales people trespass upon property clearly posted, pretend that they’re “not selling, just informing the neighborsâ€Â, keep talking when you tell them to get the hell if your property. I don’t care how good their fiber service is. (which, by all accounts, goes down regularly) I’ll never patronize them, I’ll tell these stories for years to anyone who will listen and now Google will “advertise†to thousands forever.
Absolutely deplorable service from Frontier! Their incompetent technicians trespassed onto my property without permission while installing internet for my neighbor. Instead of doing their job properly, they managed to break my water mainline, causing a massive mess and disruption in my house, keeping my wife and children without water for 2 hours. To make matters worse, their half-hearted attempt to "fix" it was a complete jokeâ€â€my mainline is still leaking, and they couldn’t care less! To top it off, their customer service is an infuriating nightmare, dodging my calls and refusing to take responsibility for their mess. No apology, no accountability, just pure negligence and disrespect for other people’s property. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want your home turned into a disaster zone. Shame on you, Frontier, for your unprofessionalism and utter disregard for customers!!🤮
